| When you enter this small village just 2 kilometres from Barban you feel as though you are entering a family farmstead. Just four or five houses make up this quiet hideaway. Entering your holiday home through your own separate, front door entrance you will sample the host's home produced and homemade food to whet your appetite for a great holiday. |  | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| This little
apartment within the family home will sleep one couple in a
double bedroom and two children in a further double bedroom,
with a separate bathroom, a connecting hallway and a kitchen / lounge where there is a sofa bed for an extra
child. This is a very well equipped apartment with satellite TV, wireless high speed connection for internet and air conditioning. The owners have decorated in a modern but tasteful way. |  | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| In the kitchen you will find all the cutlery and crockery you need plus cooking utensils including the microwave! Also, outside, is a "konoba" (Istrian word meaning family restaurant or food / alcohol producing place!) where the owner makes different "rakia" (Grappa) for your pleasure and where you can use the barbecue / fireplace. Just behind where this photo is taken is the dining room table. |

Outside to this side of the house there is a large (17ft by 10ft, 4ft deep) plastic swimming pool, higher quality than usual. The lounge area consists of a simple sofa which can make up as a double bed, facing a flat screen television. During colder periods there is an oil filled radiator supplied by the owners. |

| The bathroom has a good sized shower unit and a large hot water storage cylinder. The owners are very friendly and helpful Istrians and are likely to make sure you are kept well 'watered'. They brew their own wine and 'Rakia' (which we are sure you will be asked to sample!!!). They have their own pigs, chickens, dogs and cats and across the road goats feed from the lawns and hedges surrounding the houses. You are welcome to use the owners vegetables direct from the garden and drink their alcohols made from their grapes. |

| We are certain that the owners will give you at least one meal made with their own produce and you will be made to feel a real part of the family and village life. This is a getaway where you really will be able to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet without having to venture far because all the food and alcohol and swimming facilities can be right there on your doorstep. Don't forget though that Barban and all the local shops and restaurants are just a very quick drive up the road! |  | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
